How to marinate fish

Marinate raw fish slices with turmeric, jeera, coriander powder, garlic and salt. Keep it aside for 15 minutes.

How to cook Aloo Potol curry

Cut tomato, potato and potol into medium slices.

Put oil in a pan. When the oil starts heating up properly, add fish slices into it. Fry the pieces till it gets brown. Keep it aside.

Add oil in a pan, fry the potatoes till it get slightly red in the corners. Mix potol with it and add paanchphoron and 1 pc bay leaf. Fry with steam for 10 minutes. Add tomato in it and keep frying for 10 more minutes.

Add 3 cups of water and keep it for 15-20 mins in low flame.

Garnish with coriander leaves. The aloo potol curry could be served with chutney and rice.
