Some muscles are relatively forgotten while building up the muscles of the arms. Triceps are one of those kinds. There are some people who love to have cuts on their arms or rather desires for bulging biceps but hardly people know that triceps are the bigger muscles than biceps. In order to build up triceps, one should use barbells, cable, dumbbells and also one’s own body weight.
So to be precise there are many exercises for building triceps, one has to know well what suits for him. Some workout tips are there for building up the triceps.
1. Barbell Extension
It can be done by lying or standing. One should hold the barbell above the head by not locking the elbows. Elbows should be bent slowly lower the arms and at the back of the head. Elbow should be pushed in such a manner so that the tension remains on the triceps and then the barbells should be raised back to the starting position.
2. Bench Dips
These dips are performed with two benches. One is used to keep the feet and other is used to hold with the hands at much lower. Start with 8/10 times and then it can increase further.
3. Close Grip Bench Press
It is done by lying on the bench and the barbell (weight) is kept on the chest with hands 7 “ apart on the barbell and elbows near to the body. This should be done 10-15 times.
