60 kms away from Bangalore, Savandurga might be the highest monolithic rock in Asia, and the views are absolutely breath-taking. Medium effort, but fairly steep. Don’t miss the sunrise.

The Kanakapura Nature Adventure camp is a perfect getaway for both families and friends. It’s a relaxing hike adventure with nothing too steep.
3. Kunti Betta (125 km)
Kunti Betta is 125 kms away from Bangalore, so it’ll take some planning but it really should not be missed. Try it during a full moon for the best vistas.
4. Anthargange (70 km)
If you are a cave-enthusiast, you can head to Anthargange. A perfect hide-out from the cacophony of the city.
5. Kabbaladurga (80 km)
Kabbaladurga is pretty similar to Savandurga. But use caution at night on slick rocks.
6. Ramanagara (60 km)
If you like dawdling around ponds and temples, look no further! Ramanagara is the perfect place and an easy hike.
7. Makalidurga (60 km)
Makalidurga provides a peaceful setting for trekkers, wonderful for an easy day.
8. Narayanagiri (60 km)
Planning for a night-out with friends as well! Narayanagiri is for the nocturnal people of Bangalore.
9. Madhugiri (120 km)
Madhugiri is a difficult trek – so make sure you’re experienced for this one. But the view from the top is simply amazing! You can also visit the Madhugiri fort.
10. Manchanabele Dam (40 km)
Want to trek and enjoy a ride on the boat! Head to Manchanabele Dam which is a few kilometers away from the Bangalore city.
11. Achalu Betta (70 km)
Last but not the least, Achalu Betta is a must-go place for the rock-climbers in Bengaluru. This is one of the most popular destinations for trekking enthusiasts.
